Post Lockdown Victorian Beards

During lock down I noticed my male friends and I were not having to shave and ended up with beards or longer beards.  As most of us are of a certain age our beards were grey or salt & pepper.

The newly hirsute faces seem to come from a historical time, more Victorian. 

I wanted to photograph them as the beards visually suggested,
